Welcome to my first cupcake creation! I learned how to do it from the book, Hello, Cupcake!
If I remember correctly I made plain white cupcakes, arranged in a circle to simulate a wreath. The leaves were created by smoothing melted white chocolate with my finger over mint leaves, which are hardened for 5 minutes in the fridge, and then peeled off of the leaves. I won’t lie – it was pretty tedious, but totally worth it in the end.
The cupcakes were frosted with plain, white icing (see Recipes). After frosting one, I nestled the leaves into the icing before it had a chance to harden. Once all 7 cupcakes were completed I took red icing and piped the red “berries” all around. The ribbon gave it a final touch of Christmas.

Having baked 12 cupcakes I had 5 left over…
…not to be wasted!
